Rabbit Noises

RABBITS ACTUALLY MAKE NOISE!!!!!!!! I did not know this until now! Rabbit noises include purring, clucking, humming, growling, snorting, hissing, whining, foot stomping, teeth grinding and screaming (well I knew about the screaming but other than that I didn’t know they make noise. The screaming is the saddest so I’ll get over with that first. When a rabbits screams it either means that it is dying or is being chased by a predator. Okay, Now for the purring. Just like cats rabbits purr when they are happy or content. When a rabbit clucks it is not like when a chicken clucks because it is a lot quieter. Rabbits only cluck when they are satisfied with what they are eating. All rabbits hum on occasion, but rabbits hum mainly when a male is hitting on another rabbit. Growling: When a rabbit feels threatened it growls. Snorting: When rabbits growl they also snort (isn’t that a funny thought? Ha ha ha.). Rabbits hiss when they want other rabbits away. Rabbit whine when they don’t want to be held or anything to do with hands. When rabbits are nervous or scared they stomp their foot. When rabbits grind their teeth it means it is in a lot of pain and needs medical attention.
